Ever just need a companion on the journey? Someone to think with?
A little perspective? A voice that reminds you that you aren't all by yourself?

Welcome to Moments

Life is a series of moments. One after another. Day after day. Some big moments. Many very routine moments. But in every moment we bring who we are. As business leaders, church leaders, spouses, moms, daughters, sisters and friends, we all bring a lot of hats to the party.

I am not a big believer in "leaving your home life at home." Nor do I do great with "leaving my work life at work." I am who I am, and while the roles I play may require different parts of me to take the lead, all of me is still very much present.

How do we bring our best selves and all we have to offer into every situation? How do we live authentic lives so the person who sees us in a business meeting and at the grocery store on a bad day knows we are still the same person?

I'm not always sure, but I offer humbly my thoughts and process as I lead with all of who I am. It is my hope that your heart is encouraged and you walk away a bit more equipped for life, for leadership, for whatever the work is that you have been called to, and for your journey with Jesus.

As you peruse my writings you may notice at first glance that there isn’t a singular focus. That is actually by design:

  • I write about life as a business owner.
  • I write about partnering with my husband in business.
  • I write about my journey as a follower of Jesus.
  • I write about Passion and Provision™ and the journey to make an impact in businesses. I write about life as a wife and mom.
  • I write about leadership.
  • I write about preaching and speaking.
  • And I write about things that may not fit neatly into any of the above.

As it turns out, I have moments of joy and despair, clarity and confusion, peace and anxiety etc. across all of those areas of my life. Often on the same day!

Sometimes what I am learning seems like stuff I wish someone had shared with me, so I’m sharing it with you.

If you recognize yourself as a leader either at home, in your church, or in the workplace, then I pray that you find some of these thoughts valuable and encouraging in your journey.

While I recognize that most of my readers may be women, if you’re a man, then welcome brave soul. I believe there are jewels for you in these writings also, but you will have to be the judge of that.

I am so glad you are here.
